Cell Phone Novels

Now in Japan many new authors are writing their novels on there cell phone. 5 of the last 10 best selling novels were read on the cell phone. So it seems as if the pencial is obsoleat and the tumbs are taking a stand in the world of writing and books. A quote from this New York Times artcile is, "cellphone novelists are racking up the kind of sales that most more experienced, traditional novelists can only dream of." This can example how usually authors are losses the battle agaist cell phone novelist. A link for this is, Thumbs Race. Now books are being sold so you can read them on your cell phone which will cause a decrease in sales for actual books.

This can be a loss for authors and publisors. :(

Yahoo

Yahoo is a major search engine for music, information, pictures, and many other items. What made Yahoo popular was its e-mail software. A business plan which I think could help make yahoo a major website like google or facebook is having peopple able to interact with each other and able to have a profile and other personal information. Yahoo's business plan is going down the tubes now, since almost every major search engine has email now Yahoo is losing its edge. The New York Times arcticle stated that Yahoo's main reason for people using it was e-mail software. Now everyone has there own email and each is a different site supporting it, weather it is google, yahoo, aim, facebook, a school or anything else. But besides e-mail yahoo is a search engine for music and pictures. In November Yahoo got 96 million vistors which was more than any other website. So even with old e-mailing, Yahoo is still on top.

Now Facebook has people that can talk to others in a matter of minutes and have pictures of friends and other family members. Google has interviews, books, and papers which can help others with contacting certian things.

The creator of Facebook; Mark Zuckerberg is only in his 20's and is a billionaire. He created a website that allows people to interact with each other which is really helpful for information and just talking.

Yahoo is still good but it has its competition, so it will have to work for its glory.

Sources of Creativity

I like to be creativity when I am required to, such as homework assissments or writing a report. I like to write in a book with a pencil or on the computer with a keyboard. It doesn't come easily, you can't just turn creativity on and off you have to have ideas with lead to creavtivity. A website for this could be: Art Museum

Since the past year has gone by quick and was a lot of fun. It was tough to create tables and charts in this uber fun class. So making links and putting pictures of your favorite muskrat on your petshop website is no easy tast, it requires much thinking, pondering and conteplaning of the sort to figure this odd situation out. Making sure that the color of the text and background was perfect and how many different codes there were. This uber fun class is no easy task, because it is not easy, hense a hard class.

Christmas is here!

Christmas is so close to being here. It is only 5 days away and I just can't wait. I hope to get all my presents and give some to my family and friends.

The video I watched was about a man writing and speaking about HTML guides. He demostrated some of the basic skills of HTML such as...writing the head and showing where it goes, showing the title and how it helps, showing the body and colors that you could insert into it, and finial some key points of what is required in your code!

25 Days to Make a Difference

In Laura's blog she is helping the needy, helping her dad or making a dinner for a poor family. Each day she makes something different for a different person. Some examples of her helping others is cleaning our her fish bowl, making a plate of pasta for a family, or writing a letter to her caferitia workers. Laura is a 10-year-old girl with a mission to help others this holiday season. She has advice for others on how to help a person or people in need and how to make this holiday season so much better. So instead of taking this Christmas or Channukah season give to others. Ok, so how is this possible that a 10 year old can do all of these things. I dought a 10 year old can make a complex webpage with links and such. Well she tries to help but doesn't do her own website.
